Ecuador First week!

After living the first 3 years of my life in Ecuador, I get the opportunity to travel back as a part of the BYU Nursing program. While here, we will be in Guayaquil for 2 weeks and 2 weeks in Quito working and learning in hospitals, teaching health fairs (CPR, choking, Blood pressures, etc.) and teaching and testing anemia in school. Here are some pictures of my time here so far:

On the plane!

 The whole group!
First empanada at Bam Bam's - pollo and it was super good!
Beach day at Ocean's Resort-- felt pretty spoiled with ocean views, pool, beach volleyball, pina coloda, fresh grilled fish for lunch! wonderful Saturday after a crazy week!

Visit to the Guayquile temple- really neat to feel the spirit and remember the importance of doing Baptisms and Confirmations for the dead!

Working at the school with the most wonderful, cute children, testing anemia and teaching about hand washing, tooth brushing, etc.
went to the historical park of Gauyaquile and almost made a new friend on the railing I was leaning on- yep he is pretty big:)
